Devin Castle visit

Devin castle is situated on a high cliff over the Morava and Danube rivers, about 12 km away from the Bratislava city center and close to the border with Austria.
The history of this fortress dates back to the 9th century, the period of the Great Moravian Empire. Thanks to its strategic position the castle has played for centuries a significant defending role on the western border of the Hungarian kingdom. In 1809 it was blown up by the French army.
From the Devín castle there are great views over the Danube river and the surrounding beautiful scenery.
The Devin castle tour can be made as a part of the city tour or as a separate tour. We provide the guide, private transfers and the entrance tickets. We can also book the boat tickets for the regular boat departures from Bratislava to Devín and back.

Small Carpathian wine tour

On the eastern side of the Small Carpathians stretches from Bratislava a strip of little towns and villages that have a common attribute wine-growing. They create a Small Carpathian wine region, which is the largest in terms of size and importance in Slovakia.
The Small Carpathian wine route offers tourists and lovers of nature, folk culture and quality wine a pleasant stay in typical wine bars and vineyards spread in individual towns and villages.
Together with the wine tasting goes also the tasting of delicious local gastronomy.
Special guided tours can be arranged upon request for smaller groups or for bus groups. During the tour the guests may visit a local ceramic manufacture, the museum of wine and experience the wine tasting in a different way, for example in complete darkness. The visit of the Red Stone Castle is usually included in the program.

What to Know See Taste ...
Bratislava is located in the southwestern part of the country, on the Danube river, close to the border with Austria and Hungary. The influence of the culture and language of the three nations – Slovak, Austrian and Hungarian – have mixed in this town over centuries.
The historical centre of Bratislava is connected with the glorious period of the coronations of Hungarian kings. In the years 1563 – 1830 nineteen royal coronation processions passed through the streets of this medieval town.
In the recent years Bratislava has become a new tourist destination in Europe. Although the city centre cannot compete in size with Vienna and Budapest, foreign visitors appreciate its compact Old Town with charming narrow streets, courtyards and many other attractions.
We offer tailor made tours and programs for your leisure or incentive clients coming to Bratislava.
We will book a suitable hotel accommodation in Bratislava for you and prepare a program for a three or four day visit. There is a big choice of hotels from 2* to 5* hotels.
