The history of this fortress dates back to the 9th century, the period of the Great Moravian Empire. Thanks to its strategic position the castle has played for centuries a significant defending role on the western border of the Hungarian kingdom. In 1809 it was blown up by the French army.

What to Know See Taste ...
Bratislava is located in the southwestern part of the country, on the Danube river, close to the border with Austria and Hungary. The influence of the culture and language of the three nations – Slovak, Austrian and Hungarian – have mixed in this town over centuries.
The historical centre of Bratislava is connected with the glorious period of the coronations of Hungarian kings. In the years 1563 – 1830 nineteen royal coronation processions passed through the streets of this medieval town.
In the recent years Bratislava has become a new tourist destination in Europe. Although the city centre cannot compete in size with Vienna and Budapest, foreign visitors appreciate its compact Old Town with charming narrow streets, courtyards and many other attractions.
We offer tailor made tours and programs for your leisure or incentive clients coming to Bratislava.
We will book a suitable hotel accommodation in Bratislava for you and prepare a program for a three or four day visit. There is a big choice of hotels from 2* to 5* hotels.
